Meet Our Providers

Currie Custer Patterson, M.D.

Currie Custer Patterson, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who grew up in Georgia and Louisiana. Dr. Patterson completed her undergraduate education at Emory University, where she graduated Magna cum laude in May 1999. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine where she completed her medical and dermatological training in June 2005. Dr. Patterson was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society, during her medical training at the University. She completed her dermatology residency at The Ohio State University as well, where she held the title of Chief Resident from January 2008 - April 2009. Dr. Patterson moved with her family to Sylva in 2009. She and her husband have a blended family of six children. When that isn’t keeping her busy, she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling and trying new foods.

Andrew Krispinsky, M.D.

Andrew Krispinsky, MD is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who grew up in Dallas, Texas. He completed his undergraduate and medical training at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr. Krispinsky joined the United States Navy awarded with the Health Professions Scholarship. After completing his internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia, he served as Senior Medical Officer on the USS Gunston Hall and Medical Readiness Division Norfolk. Upon completion of his service, Dr. Krispinsky moved to Columbus, Ohio for a two year Clinical Dermatology Research Fellowship at the Ohio State University. He stayed at Ohio State to complete his Dermatology residency and his Dermatopathology fellowship. He has relocated to Clyde with his wife and two girls and is excited to establish roots in Western North Carolina. He enjoys hiking, gardening, learning about wine, trying new restaurants, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Mallory Krispinsky, PA-C

Mallory Krispinsky, PA-C, comes to Current Dermatology with 12 years of experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Mallory grew up in rural Missouri and attended Saint Louis University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Occupational Sciences and a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. 

She has worked in dermatology for 12 years and is a diplomat of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In addition to her extensive knowledge of medical dermatology, she is highly trained in cosmetic dermatology including Botox and other neurotoxins, all types of filler, biostimulatory injections, and sclerotherapy. She continues to train with top injectors and keeps up to date on the latest treatments. 

Mallory prefers a natural cosmetic look which she provides in a relaxed, comfortable setting. She prides herself on building your comfort and trust while achieving your unique and personalized outcome. When not working, she stays busy raising her two girls and spending time with her husband, hiking, cooking, working out, and reading. 

Rebecca Manring, DNP, DCNP, FNP-C

Rebecca E. Manring, DNP, DCNP, FNP-C, is from Jackson County and joined Current Dermatology in August 2016 after obtaining her master's and doctoral degrees in nursing from The University of South Alabama. She is board certified in both dermatology and family medicine and focuses on medical dermatology for patients of all age ranges and skin conditions. Rebecca and her husband, Blake, live in Cullowhee with their four-legged children. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. Rebecca also has a bachelor’s degree in music education and plays clarinet in the local “Mountain Winds” Community Band.

 
Rebecca Manring, DNP, NP-C

Daniel Webb, PA-C

Daniel Webb, PA-C joined Current Dermatology in December 2023.  He is originally from Illinois and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 2008. He moved to Western North Carolina in 2012 after graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Daniel and his wife, Lauren, now live in Haywood County where they are raising two children that keep them busy. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

 

Meghan Jones, MSN, APN, DCNP

Meghan Jones is a board certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice since 2013. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated with honors in 2007.  In 2013, she graduated from Northern Illinois University with her Master of Science in Nursing where she earned her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Meghan sat for and passed her nurse practitioner dermatology boards in 2018 – a feat of which she is very proud. She began working part time at Current Dermatology in February 2022 as our provider specialist in cosmetic injections and facial rejuvenation. Meghan routinely attends hands on cosmetic trainings with expert injectors to further her knowledge and skills in cosmetic dermatology.  She specializes in achieving natural looking results, while delivering beauty and confidence to her patients. Meghan is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.  She currently resides in Hendersonville.
